Few days ago me and my best buds Kyle and Dani craved for some legit and authentic wagyu steak on a friday gimik day and we can’t find other restaurants beside the newly opened Magosaburo Restaurant located at the fort strip and it’s just beside your favorite clubs. This is actually my first time to try out this restaurants but I’ve been hearin a lot of good feedbacks about this so I’m too giddy to try it out, we tried the 9 course meal offered (you can also order by ala carte). I tell you! that 9 course meal is really really worth it specially the wagyu steak cooked on lava stone!! Anyway, here are the photos of my magosaburo experience.
The zen type design and aesthetics of the interior is really perfect and sophisticated for the best dining experience!
before we started the feast we were offered a bottle of white wine.
To kick off our feast we started with different japanese pickles of spinach, tomato and radish. We also had seared tuna, wagyu sushi and japanese wagyu tenderloin! My personal favorite is the wagyu sushi!
Then we had Fois Gras with custard egg and soup. The sweetness of the soup and the flavor of fois grois just balances out everything!
Wagyu beef shank stew. I think every food there has the word “Wagyu” in it. lol
Prawns on grilled and cooked on lava stone. I thought this was the start of the major course of the 9 course meal but I was worng, it just started he half of the 9 course meal! ahhhh I was already full! haha!
To freshen up our taste buds we had basil sorbet. It’s a great recovery food before eating the wagyu steak!
and then here we go! going to the main course of the 9 course meal!
We were served with Prime ox toung cooked on lava stone. It’s like our lengua here in the philippines! It’s so good!
and then my personal favorite of all!!!!!! The japanese wagyu steak! It’s like heaven in my mouth every time I bite that meat! Now I’m craving and panning to go back there again while making this post. haha!
In japanese culture they serve the rice at the end of the meal. lol. towards the latter part of our dining experience we were served with magosaburo rice in beef stock. Too bad I was already too full but it didn’t hinder me from trying it!
Then we had a sweet ending by trying out their dessert patter! my favorite is the creme brulee and the cheesecake!
After the dining experience we had the chance to meet the man behind the awesome food of magosaburo, Chef Takashi Motomatsu!
Over all the experience was the best and I really love how they cook every food in front of you and I’m really glad that I tried this restaurants because it’s something new to me! If you guys want to have this kind of experience that we had, Go to magosaburo now and try out their 9-course meal for only 3500 pesos per head! Trust me! It’s worth it!!!
