Masskara 2014

This is my first time experiencing Masskara festival in Bacolod city and i’m so thankful that SMART brought us here and they made us live more (lol), my friends had been telling me to go specially my ilonggo and bacolod friends and yes, they were right….I had an amazing experience in bacolod during masskara festival, not only because of the parties but also because of the great food, great company which by the way bacolod people are throwing it down during the parties, like EVERYTIME! and the number of historical and tourist-y places you can go to in bacolod, having said that I can easily share with you guys my masskara photos through my social media without any hassle all because of the Smart free internet that time and the LTE there was on full blast, need I say more?

For those who doesn’t know what masskara festival is, It is a festival in bacolod held every third week of october to lift up the spirits of the people during the crisis in the 1980’s by wearing colorful and artistic masks and costumes while they dance in the streets of bacolod, with this tradition they continued to celebrate this and they held pageants, street dance competitions, parties and parades in the entire city for three days! Just imagine how fun everything was during masskara! Of course we all participated in every event, we went to street dance competitions, we rode a float for the parade and of course we partied…really hard! hahaha! Thank you so much to SMART for giving us the opportunity to experience Masskara!

It really is one for the books! Here’s a run down of what happened this uring masskara 2014!

Triple Play

How you guys doing? Well, I’m just trying my best to get back on track, I’ve been out of the “blogging world” for quite some time now, if you guys follow me on twitter and instagram well, you know why. hahaha! Anyway, I’m tryin my best to post a lot of outfit posts for you guys aka my backlogs! So here’s the first one! haha! I wore this one few months ago to a family weekend in tagaytay with the very musculine Toyota FJ cruiser that’s perfect for a weekend trip and long drives.

   1Cap: Billabong

Jacket: Penguin

Mesh top: Topman

Shoes:Everybody Needs a Pair

2I’m loving how I can be colorful on a weekend and this jacket is just perfect for that colorful day and it’s also perfect for tagaytay’s weather and to be honest this is one of my favorite jackets that I have right now, I always use it specially on rainy days. What a steal! Can’t get enough of this kind of jackets!

If you guys know me well I’m more of the basic kind of guy but it’s never bad to try out something new so I tried wearing floral shoes for the first time and I it’s just the perfect pair to match with my colorful outfit.

What I love the Toyot Fj cruiser is not just how it looks like but I love how it’s really easy to drive, you won’t this bi cag and musculine car to be as light as the one I tried before, the toyota yaris. The car can fit 5 people and it’s perfect for long drives because it’s buil for out of town trips and off road driving. lol. Of course I didn’t try to drive it off-road but if you’re an adventurous one, then why not? haha!  anyway, here are some facts about this bautiful dream car.

-Have the confidence to cross a creek, and the clearance to back it up. FJ’s elevated air intake and protected electrical components can, under certain conditions, defy currents up to 28 inches deep, helping you cross safely to dry land.

-The FJ Cruiser’s V6 engine pumps out 260 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. These impressive numbers are due in part to its Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence or VVT-i. This precision timing system delivers a broad torque curve across the rpm range.

-The FJ’s available floating-ball instrument panel puts an outside temperature gauge, compass and inclinometer just a glance away.

-FJ Cruiser comes standard with the Star Safety System, a suite of six advanced safety features that includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) ,Active Traction Control (A-TRAC), Multi-terrain 4-wheel Anti-lock Brake Systems (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Smart Stop Technology(SST).
