This is my first time experiencing Masskara festival in Bacolod city and i’m so thankful that SMART brought us here and they made us live more (lol), my friends had been telling me to go specially my ilonggo and bacolod friends and yes, they were right….I had an amazing experience in bacolod during masskara festival, not only because of the parties but also because of the great food, great company which by the way bacolod people are throwing it down during the parties, like EVERYTIME! and the number of historical and tourist-y places you can go to in bacolod, having said that I can easily share with you guys my masskara photos through my social media without any hassle all because of the Smart free internet that time and the LTE there was on full blast, need I say more?
For those who doesn’t know what masskara festival is, It is a festival in bacolod held every third week of october to lift up the spirits of the people during the crisis in the 1980’s by wearing colorful and artistic masks and costumes while they dance in the streets of bacolod, with this tradition they continued to celebrate this and they held pageants, street dance competitions, parties and parades in the entire city for three days! Just imagine how fun everything was during masskara! Of course we all participated in every event, we went to street dance competitions, we rode a float for the parade and of course we partied…really hard! hahaha! Thank you so much to SMART for giving us the opportunity to experience Masskara!
It really is one for the books! Here’s a run down of what happened this uring masskara 2014!
